What She Could Do

Sews what we need,
costumes, bordered
shirts – coats
smiling from within.
Sings the 60’s folk songs
Simon & Garfunkel, rhyme
in harmony. Be the gentle
willow or oak of reason. Give
freely. Advise truthfully. Saves me
with her patient heart.
